Summer Packing List

Summer weather in Israel:
Temperatures will be in the high 80º's and 90º's. Tel Aviv and Tiberias will be hot and humid (like New York or Miami). Jerusalem is dryer and cooler, particularly at night. Masada and Eilat are extremely hot…but dry. There won't be a drop of rain!

Expect several days of outdoor activities, a few evenings out on the town and one night of camping. You will also spend time inside museums, archeological sites and at shopping areas.

Although some of the hotels may offer laundry services it is very inconvenient. Try and pack enough clothing for ten days.

The following is a suggested packing list. A good hint: If you can't lift it yourself, then you've got too much stuff in your bag. Remember, it will only get heavier once you buy gifts and souvenirs! Try to use luggage with wheels.

For exact luggage size and weight restrictions please visit your airline’s website:

El AL: carry-onluggage        Israir: carry-on – luggage        Air Canada: carry-onluggage
Continental: carry-onluggage        Arkia: carry-on – luggage        Turkish Air: carry-on – luggage
