| You are about to participate on the Taglit-Birthright
Israel experience – ten days of fast-paced action-packed
adventure, learning and inspiration. Mayanot offers the
unique opportunity to extend your trip for another 3 weeks
to experience Israel and Judaism in a more tranquil environment,
giving you the opportunity to internalize all that you
experienced on the ten-day Taglit-Birthright Israel trip.
Taglit-Birthright Israel participants can apply for
a scholarship to join this program for only $99! This
includes tuition, room and board for 3 full weeks (normal
tuition for this program is $799). No Hebrew language
or Jewish studies background is required.
Discover your Jewish roots with other young Jews from
around the world in a thought-provoking program, exploring
topics such as Hebrew Language (Ulpan), Kabbalah &
Mysticism, Jewish History and Law, Jewish Philosophy,
Talmud, contemporary Jewish issues and many other exciting
areas of Jewish heritage, culture and thought. Mayanot
is located in the heart of Jerusalem and is walking
distance to downtown and the Old City. Mayanot offers
separate parallel programs for women and men ages 20
through 29.

Although applications for this scholarship will be
available on your Taglit-Birthright Israel trip in Israel,
due to the popularity of the program only those applications
that are received in advance of your trip may be guaranteed
a spot.
The cost of this program is $99. If you need to cancel
please make sure to do so, in writing, to mayanot@mayanot.edu
a minimum of seven days before the date you choose below
as your arrival date at Mayanot. Cancellations within
the seven days prior to your arrival date will result
in the forfeiture of the $99 program fee.
This scholarship is available for 3 weeks following
your Taglit-Birthright Israel trip. Opportunities may
be available to study at Mayanot for longer or shorter
periods of time. Please see the Academic
Calendar to ensure that your 3 week stay is when
Mayanot is in session. |
